Jordanville N.Y. - On Sunday evening September 19, 2021 Michael Andreev Sr. (67) and his daughter Sofia Trusova (12) were tragically killed in a domestic violence incident. This act of violence was a shock to the family, the local Jordanville community, and the entire Russian Orthodox Community. Michael’s young adult sons were left to pick up the pieces from this violent tragedy. Stefan (20) who was attending the American University in Bulgaria at the time of the incident and Christian (18) who was in his fifth week of Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base took emergency leaves to come home and honor their family, sort through all of the broken pieces and to care for their 9 year old brother who survived the incident.

The Andreevs are a hard-working family but they are facing significant expenses to cover the costs of the funerals, travel, and caring for their youngest brother. Please consider a donation to help these courageous young men and their family.
