Andrei Illarionov Fund

My name is Tanya Gorlin. I am raising money on behalf of Andrei Illarionov. Andrei is a famous economist and political analyst. He was one of Putin’s advisors, but resigns from his position because of his disagreement with Putin’ policy. Since 2006 Andrei was a member of Cato Institute. He is known for his honest, truthful analysis of political life in Putin’s Russia. Ironically, Andrei’s truthful analysis of our election and political situation after November 3, was the “reason” of firing him from Cato Institute several days ago.

We are living through a dark time as the squall of 'democratic' repressions is already in full swing. One of its first victims is Andrei Illarionov, who in his LiveJournal dared to question mainstream line about Washington rally of Trump supporters on January 6 publishing an article “Podzhog Reikhstaga” in Russian (The Burning of the Reichstag).

For this article he was immediately fired from the Cato Institute.
In the USA Andrei Illarionov became one of the founders of Free Russia – an open
forum of the opponents of Putin regime where people could freely exchange their views and ideas. He distinguished himself as a brilliant analyst; his conclusions were always based on facts and independent non-partisan analysis.

Andrei Illarionov's livelihood was totally based on his salary and occasional publications.
That's why his financial situation today is alarming and our help is urgently needed.
