Who am I?
Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Andrei Cerbu, a 17 years old guitar player, who wishes to make a career by playing music. My music affair began when I was almost 7 years old. One day, my dad showed me on YouTube some famous guitarists and asked me if I want to play that instrument. I replied very excitedly that I really want to learn how to become like those musicians I had listened to and so the journey began.
At almost 11 years old, I became famous around the country due to the TV show “Romania’s Got Talent”. I played, „Still Got the Blues” by Gary Moore, the song that I love the most, in front of the jury and the big audience. It was a great success and sent me straight to the semi-finals.
After that, I won 1st place in the semi-finals, where I was playing on a flying stage, with the amp at my ear! In the finals, the judge decided that I will get 3rd place, a fact that amazed me and made me cry with joy! I couldn’t believe the fact that at 11 years old I could get so far, and still can’t to this day!

What projects do I have now?
First of all, I am the leader of two bands: a heavy metal band called “The Iron Cross” and a blues – rock band called “Andrei Cerbu & The Rockin’ Groove”. Both The Iron Cross and Andrei Cerbu & The Rockin’ Groove played on very big stages in Romania (Hard Rock Café, Brezoi Blues Festival etc.), a fact that makes me very proud. With “The Iron Cross” I released the album “Go Away”, which is now on all digital platforms:

Also, in one month, I will release my first blues – rock album with “Andrei Cerbu & The Smokin’ Groove” called “Some Kind Of Blues”. When I made this band, I realised that the good, old music was not important anymore to the teenagers, so I wanted to revive that music, to show them how, sometimes, the old ways are better. What will be the result?
After the improvements in my studio I will be able to film, record, and mix my own videos and produce my own albums. I will be able to make the recordings and mixes at a much higher quality, with much more ease for me and my bands. I will also be able to help other young musicians improve their music and share their talent.
Those that know me and my work know that I made a lot of collaborations with teenagers from my city, whom I helped with free recordings and videos and I promoted them on my YouTube channel, so they will surely benefit from this upgrade.
