Andres' Cancer Treatment
Our family is going through a tough time right now as my uncle, Andres, the youngest of 8 siblings is battling colon cancer. What started in the colon has, unfortunately, spread to his abdomen.
Luckily, he will soon be able to receive care at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, and we’re hoping this will prolong his opportunity to spend time with his wife, Cari, and two sons (10 and 7 years old), in addition to our whole family.
As a family, we’ve always stuck together, but in times like these any prayers and support are welcome. Financial support will help cover hospital costs, overnight stays needed to be closer to treatment, gas to and from Sacramento and San Francisco, and any opportunity to make lasting memories for their family, especially for my uncle and his young sons.
I want to thank everyone in advance, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting my uncle and #teambasas. With this outpouring love, prayers, and support, our favorite USC alumni will fight on❤️
Through this experience we also encourage everyone to listen to their bodies, get those yearly checkups, and be proactive when it comes to health. We love you all and thank you so much again!
