It is with deep sorrow, this past Sunday 3/13 my best friend Samer’s little brother, Andrew Akroush (21) passed away from a car accident in Yonkers. This news is extremely unsettling and Unexpected. Andrew was the sweetest, free spirited, and charming young man. He was everyone’s best friend and always had the biggest smile on his face.
As a close family friend, the very least I can do is help with any funds. I’m concerned for the remaining sister and brother Rena and Samer respectively. Although they say they are covered for the funeral costs, this fundraiser is simply for them. For Rena and Samer to continue their education. To be free as Andrew would want them to be. They should not have to worry about bills or anything at the moment.
Please donate if you are able to, if it is the least I can do for them. They are like a second family to me. Andrew always looked up to me and I viewed him as my little brother too. We truly pray for peace and strength for the family at this time.

Visitation for Andrew will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home.
A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. An interment will occur Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
