Andrew and Stacy Hamilton visit Israel

Hello, my name is Andrew Hamilton. I am a pastor and worship leader in Central Indiana. A few months ago my wife and I were invited to lead worship and experience many locations in Isreal with the Biblical Foundations Academy. We thought as much as it would be an amazing opportunity, we just couldn't swing it financially. We are a family of five with a budget, bills, expenses, etc., just like everybody else. However, we have learned throughout our walk with God that many times He has other plans. A few close friends of ours fronted some money to pay for one of our down payments to reserve our spot and for the journey itself, giving us a great head start on the overall financial need. God has also opened some really cool doors for us to be able to make this opportunity a reality. But financially we still have a ways to go. We are stepping out on faith to be obedient to His call. Let me tell you about what we will get to experience. Some of the highlights will include visits to the Mediterranean Sea, ancient Yafo (Jaffa), exploring underneath the city of David (Jerusalem), sailing the sea of Galilee, riding to the top of Mt. Hermon, Hiking to the top of Mt. Arbel (where Christ gave the great commission!), wading in the Jordan River, Floating in the Dead Sea, walking around ancient Shiloh in Samaria, experiencing Old City Jerusalem including observing Yom Kippur and preparations for Sukkot, and much, much more. I will also be leading worship using a certain song titled "Psalm 3" at Absolom's tomb. Absolom was David's son. David wrote Psalm 3 during his flight from his rebellious son Absolom who sought after his life. Amazing! This trip is very important to us as followers of Christ and His teachings as it would be to any Christian. A pilgrimage to Israel is a goal for most believers. This will be a life-changing experience that we will not soon forget and it will be an investment into the deepening of our ministry here. Let me share with you how the funds will be used. The funds will go towards the journey itself which includes hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, and guided tours equalling $2500 per person. We have to book and pay for our own round-trip airfare into Tel Aviv, and then back to the US. El Al (Israeli airline) airfare varies depending on date and length of trip. We calculated about $1000 per person for airfare which does not include taxes, bag fees, any additional fees. We are stepping out on faith with this opportunity but we are also claiming it in the name of Jesus and talking about it like it is already happening.
