Andrew Chu's Grieving Family & Baby on the Way

My name is Elaine, and I am Andrew's sister-in-law. I am writing this on behalf of our family and his girlfriend, Raschelle.

On the morning of May 21, 2023, tragedy struck when Andrew unexpectedly passed away in his sleep, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. He was not only a loving father, son, brother, and friend but also an exceptional human being whose kindness and selflessness knew no bounds.

Those fortunate enough to have known Andrew speak of his caring nature, boundless love, and how he celebrated others more than himself. His vibrant personality and infectious laughter lit up every room he entered, spreading warmth and joy to those around him. Andrew's impact on people's lives was immeasurable, as he never missed an opportunity to brighten someone's day or remember their special moments, including birthdays.

Andrew's greatest joy in life was being a father. His devotion to his 8-year-old son, Timothy, was unparalleled, and he eagerly awaited his baby girl's arrival (due October 2023). Sadly, Andrew's passing means he will not have the chance to meet his daughter, and his girlfriend Raschelle is left to navigate the bittersweet journey of motherhood without his comforting presence.

Andrew cherished his family above else, and his love for them was evident in every action and word. His loss has left a gaping hole in our lives, and the path to healing and rebuilding feels insurmountable.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to extend our love and support to Andrew's grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. By contributing here, you have the opportunity to express your heartfelt condolences and help alleviate some of the financial burdens that comes with such a tragic loss.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, Andrew’s family would appreciate monetary donations instead. All the proceeds will be placed in a trust, ensuring that Timothy and his unborn daughter will be cared for and provided for, even in their father's absence.
