Andrew Frankel’s Hospitalization Relief Fund

Hi Everyone! My name is Andrew Frankel. I am a hardworking attorney who unfortunately has been given incredible obstacles to overcome that up until this point I’ve been able to bear without asking for help. In 2016, I received a double lung and liver transplant due to a genetic disease and suffered liver rejection that took months to fight off. Additionally, due to catching COVID-19 in 2022 my lungs rejected and I received a second pair of lungs in April 2023. Most recently these lungs have undergone acute rejection and I am currently in the hospital doing all I can to get better. As you can expect that the treatment required amounts to inordinate hospital bills even with insurance. I simply ask that you do anything within your power, even if that is just passing the message along to the next person. Due to these difficulties it took me 12 years to finish law school and become an attorney and I have that same resilience now to overcome and move forward. I am
