With profound sadness, we share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Andrew, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at just 43 years old. Andrew was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone who left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those he loved, especially his two beautiful children, Ava (9) and Ryker (7).
Andrew’s greatest joy in life was being a dad. He loved his children fiercely, always putting them first and doing everything he could to bring happiness into their lives. Whether it was making them laugh with his playful sense of humour or offering words of wisdom and encouragement, Andrew traveled great distances to provide a good life for his children. His love for Ava and Ryker was unwavering.
Now, in the wake of his sudden passing, Ava and Ryker face a future without their father’s presence. Their mother, Katie Richards, is left to raise them on her own while navigating the immense grief of this loss. As they adjust to this painful new reality, we want to do everything possible to support them and ease the financial burden that comes with such an unexpected tragedy.
We have created this fundraiser to help cover funeral expenses, household costs, and provide stability for Ava and Ryker as they move forward without their dad. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in their lives. If you’re unable to contribute, we ask that you please share this fundraiser to help us reach as many people as possible.
Andrew was a man with a big heart—he had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His kindness, humor, and love will never be forgotten. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in his children and in the countless lives he touched.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity during this difficult time.
