Andrew Hale needs to exercise!

Andrew needs our help again friends! After two and a half years in a wheelchair, that does not fit him properly, Andrew is beginning to suffer health issues due to the bad fitment. Our goal is to get him a new chair and continued PT.
Adaptive Action Sports has started the process by making the first payment to Finch Adaptive Fabrication but much more support is needed!
The fit of a wheelchair is extremely important for so many reasons; First a wheelchair, is fundamentally an extension of the body, so to encourage continued activity it must be comfortable. If you have a size 9 foot you're probably not going for a jog in a size 7 shoe. Second, if the chair does not fit properly it can cause additional circulation issues, issues with digestion, the bladder and with kidney function. For Andrew, he is currently suffering from chronic bladder stones that are seriously thwarting his quality of life. Our goal is to raise the cost of the chair and additional funds to help with ongoing PT and transportation maintenance.
Andrews Backstory; An amazingly inspiring young man Andrew Hale “Halestorm” suffered a life threatening snowboard accident two and half years ago. Since then, he is living in Florida with his mother Deb who has become a full time caretaker. When Andrew is comfortable and healthy her job is made easier but without a proper chair, the task can be taxing on both Andrew and Deb.
Andrew has been through a lot in his life but always finds a way to pull through with extreme positivity. Please help him pull through again!
When Andrew was little he was hit by a car suffering life threatening injuries . He actually died during that accident and now has a tatoo that says "Miracles Happen" The accident led to a chronically infected foot which years later had to be amputated. Instead of letting the amputation bring him down like it would most people he turned and made an inspiring story to tell, he had made up his mind: nothing was going to stop him from doing the things he loved. A few weeks after the amputation he was out on a skateboard going down the street! From there on if he wanted to do something he found a way to do it! From surfing, to skateboarding, to snowboarding to hiking to working !He did it all! There was not a day of excuses, there was not one day of “woe is me”
After Andrew fully recovered from the surgery and was doing great things he decided to move out west to pursue his snowboard career. Not only did he do that while he was out there but he also did many other exciting things like volunteered with adaptive programs including Adaptive Action Sports where they held sports clinics for children with amputations.
We are all extremely devastated that Andrew is living in discomfort. Andrew has touched all of us through his amazing journey and he is not done yet! He is a fighter and taught us all that MIRACLES HAPPEN!
Please help support Andrew and family through this difficult time and keep the prayers and positive thoughts coming!
