Young Military family devastated by suicide
Heartbreaking situation, due to a sudden tragic family loss a young 12-year-old daughter must now grow up without her father and 3 stepdaughters will forever be without a father figure they forever made memories with. We never know the way our peers are struggling, especially veterans. Andrew Hatcher took his own life at his home in Spring Grove PA September 12, 2021, not long after announcing he completed level 7 of celebrate recovery and was starting a job in Washington DC as Diplomatic Security Guard. He spent 13 years in the Army in the 19th congressional district D3 Cavalry Scout.
He was hard working, caring, and always had a smile that was so gentle; he touched the lives of many and was a comical person full of funny jokes and fun times. To lose him in such a way is an absolute shock and tragedy that will haunt us all forever. The life we were all building together has been stolen from us
