Andrew, Marissa, and Allie LaFleur

Allie Rose is a beautiful, fun-loving 3-year-old little girl who brightens up the room with her smile. She loves Baby Yoda, her dogs, and her sisters. To say she is loved by everyone is an understatement.

On June 30th, Andrew and Marissa's world was turned upside down when they found out Allie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Allie has had multiple CT scans, MRIs, and a biopsy since. The biopsy went well, but then a setback occurred when a bleed started which made her breathing and heart rate irregular. She was put in the PICU for closer monitoring and is currently still there.

On July 13th, our family’s world was turned upside down again when the results from Allie’s biopsy revealed that she has a high-grade Glioma. This kind of cancer is typically not curable. The tumor may shrink with radiation but usually comes back. 

Many family members and friends from near and far have gathered around Andrew, Marissa, and Allie during this extremely difficult time. While this offers some comfort, the road ahead for Andrew, Marissa, Allie, and her big sisters Rylie and Skylar is going to be a long, winding one. Bumps, turns, some smooth sailing, and then more bumps, turns, and detours could all come into play at any time.

Marissa is currently on leave from work to be with Allie at the hospital. Andrew is also staying at the hospital but is traveling back to their home in Colorado Springs to spend time with Rylie and Skylar as often as possible.

Those that know this family know they are a solid unit. When one hurts, they all hurt. Right now the youngest one is hurting and we ask for everyone to help however you can.
