ANDREW MORGAN "YOGI" FUNERAL COSTS

Andrew Morgan or “Yogi” as he was known to most, tragically passed away from natural causes at his home at Minster on sea, on the 6th October 2019. Yogi was taken far too early at just 56 years old. 


During the early part of his life Yogi was well known throughout the music industry/community as an exceptionally skilled drummer. “Six sticks Morgan” was a name awarded for his trick of using 3 drumsticks in either hand. Yogi had a promising future career as a drummer and he had already played with many very well known bands/artists. Yogi’s career was however sadly cut short in 2005 through a car accident which left him permanently disabled. Despite the tragedy of his circumstances after the accident, which eventually left Yogi virtually housebound and in very poor financial circumstances, Yogi stayed positive and continued to support the music industry, from his armchair, in any way possible. Music was Yogi’s life and it was only his love for the music community that kept him fighting on for as long as he did. 


We need your kind help to raise the funds to give “Yogi” the respectful send off he deserves.


Unfortunately Yogi had no provision or family to finance his final journey and as his friends we simply cannot allow the state paupers funeral he would currently receive. Yogi deserves better, he was a kind and supportive man to many, and we would like to repay this. 

All donations will go towards Yogis funeral costs and any surplus funds will be passed to 'Jessie’s Fund' music helping children charity.
