Andrew Newhouse

Hi, my name is Jadie Teel and I'm fundraising for Andrew Newhouse and his family.

Andrew Newhouse, the son of Brian and Tina Newhouse, was taken to the ER on Tuesday for headaches. The doctors there found a concerning mass/tumor. Later that evening, he was flown to Ruby Memorial in Morgantown for further evaluation.

Wednesday, the doctors had planned on performing surgery on Friday to remove the tumor. With the location of the tumor, they are working on the best approach for removal. Unfortunately, the tumor is front, middle of the brain, and looks to be skull based.

Thursday, today, the neurosurgeon talked to his parents this morning and said tgey are possibly looking at next week (maybe October 31st) for surgery in place of Friday. Again, the location of the tumor is making the removal more challenging. They are corresponding with the ENT surgeons as they will need to be involved to lead the way for the neurosurgeons to remove it.

Andrew is only 21 years old, and he's overall healthy. All labs have looked great, and Andrew is in great spirits, as always. They appreciate all prayers and ask that you please continue praying for Andrew and his family.

Currently, Andrew's family has been staying at a hotel. We are trying to raise some money to help with those expenses and the cost of food, gas, etc, to help ease their minds during this trying time. There is no amount too small.
