Hello Family & Friends and Community...

Drew Pietrack, aka Coach Drew has been fighting for his life since November 10, 2021.

After experiencing swelling, tingling and pain in his legs he went to the ER in Durango and was life flighted to Albuquerque, NM. Once he arrived in Albuquerque his heart stopped due to all of the clots in his lungs. He was put on life support for 4 days. He had 3 surgeries in 4 days and survived all of them. He is truly fighting for his life.

He is aware of everything, knows who everyone is and his brain function is great. He is especially proud of his brand new baby boy Jett, who was born 9 weeks ago. He said he can't wait to get home so he can hold his boy again!

Andrew does have health insurance but due to COVID-19 there were no available ICU beds in the state of Colorado. They had no option but to transfer him out of network to UNMH in Albuquerque. The maximum out-of-pocket they will pay is 16,000. This does not include a medical transfer or any inpatient rehab he will need. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

So here we are just waiting for him to recover and wondering how we can help??
