Andrew "Rambo" Lambropoulos

We’re reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea on behalf of our mate Andrew Lambropoulos (Rambo), and his family. This is a story of hope, sacrifice, resilience, and the power of mates.

Andrew, a husband, a father, a mate - is facing an uphill battle as he fights against a life-threatening medical condition. His doctors have determined that a kidney transplant is his best chance at survival and a healthy life, and in a true act of friendship and sacrifice, David Rogowski (Rogo) has come forward to donate his kidney to save Andrew’s life.

But the challenges don't end there. Andrew, Lisa, and their kids Jack (5) and Florence (2) live in the UK, and the expertise for his complex surgery is in Australia. For this life-saving procedure to take place, Andrew and his family need to travel to Australia and remain here for upwards of 6 months to ensure a successful recovery.

This is where we, as a strong, tight-knit community, can make a tremendous difference. The financial burden of relocating, securing housing, and covering living expenses in Australia is overwhelming, especially when added to the emotional stress of a medical crisis. That's why we've set up this GoFundMe campaign – to rally around Andrew and his family and provide them with the support they so desperately need during this trying time.
