Andrew Seltzer Neurosarcoidosis Brain Surgery

In May 2023 Andrew entered the hospital with a 5 day long migraine. We soon found out that he had suffered a stroke and had encephalitis, they believed aseptic meningitis was to blame. He was released after 5 days then had a stroke at home 2 days later. He was then hospitalized for a week while experiencing focal seizures, also finding out that he also has a PFO hole in his heart and Factor 5 Heterozygous gene mutation. Later tests showed he also has antiphosololipid syndrome. In September he was once again hospitalized with the same symptoms encephalitis and headache, but released a week later with no answer as to what is causing the encephalitis. He is now once again in the hospital suffering from all the same symptoms with no answers as to why. We are hoping to have him transferred to Mayo clinic in Minnesota where he can get more specialized care and hopefully get a diagnosis so he can get back to living a normal life with his two sons.
