Andrew Williams funeral costs

Unfortunately after nearly 3 years of constant battle against such an awful disease, Andrew Williams lost his battle on 6th August 2020.
Andrew was diagnosed with B acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in February 2018. His initial chemotherapy plan was a year long, which had put him into Maintence, but soon after in July 2019 he sadly relapsed, with a more aggressive strand of leukaemia. Not only was the leukaemia in his bones and blood, it was now shown on multiple CT scans of liver lesions. After having no response to the second treatment, he continued to a third. In December 2019 he started a brand new treatment called the CAR-T in London. Which allowed them to take and adapt this immune cells to fight off the disease. After a distressing month of being in Intensive care and fighting for his life, not remembering his birthday nor Christmas, they had told him the 80% of leukaemia that was in his body had cleared to 0%!! However after further tests it had shown a small amount of cells in his bone. For a better chance of survival they soon decided to processes to radiotherapy, chemotherapy just before a bone marrow transplant where he had used an umbilical cord for its cells in may 2020. July 2020, 2 months after his transplant, his leukaemia cells have increased rapidly with a 58% of disease back. This was his 7th treatment plan. A week after Andrew and I were told the news to start making memory’s.
After everything andrew had been through, there’s was not one time he had complained throughout his whole treatments. It was tough some days but he was so determined and all he wanted was to make everyone around him happy. Which he did. Not a day went by that me, our family or the hospital staff weren’t laughing at his awful dad jokes! He fought until his very last breath.
Unfortunately we have had extreme financial struggles with living by ourselves and not being able to work full time. We never had a lot of money to save for a time like this.
The funds raised will contribute to all aspects of the funeral. The costs has came out of around £4,000.
Dates and times are not yet confirmed for his memorial, however please keep in contact and things will soon come to light.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and no amount is to small!
We can not thank everyone enough.
