Andrew's Broken Jaw Fund

Around May 17, Andrew was walking his friend across the street when 2 gang members started giving her a hard time, saying she was trespassing. Andrew told them to leave her alone and that she was just going to her own house on her own property. They got out of their truck, got in his face, and threatened Andrew before punching him in the face and breaking his jaw. The police were called, but they didn't get the names because a neighbor unfortunately covered for them.

Andrew has to have his mouth wired shut for 4 weeks, and another week closed with rubber bands and has already lost 13 pounds, as he can only eat blended and strained food through a straw. Andrew is looking at a $1,400 surgery bill (his portion after insurance) and a hospital bill that he still hasn't seen, including a CT Scan. He isn’t able to work until his jaw is healed, and disability only pays a percentage of his wages. He also needs a root canal, that resulted from the assault, once his jaw is healed.

We would like to raise money for Andrew's medical bills and loss of wages. He was just trying to do the right thing and get a friend safely to her house. He protected her in the face of danger and is now paying the price.  Any contribution would help. Let's bless Andrew during this hard time while he is healing! Prayers are also appreciated.
