- UPDATE: Andrew is doing alot better, breathing on his own, tubes have been removed and will only put back in for surgerys.. Doctors are estimating a 6 week stay roughly in toronto hospital.
Hi my name is Samantha, I am doing this fundraiser and gofundme for my in laws.
My mother and father inlaws house had a accidental fire on September 30th at around 5pm in the perth road area.
Not only have they lost all there belongings but it was not just my father & mother in law in the house, the house had 7 people total. 4 adults & 3 kids.
My hubbys brother was not able to make it out of the house.. He unfortunately endured many many burns as well as critical condition for his lungs. Well this fire happened to find out once he was transferred to toronto hospital he passed out due to said infection traveling his body.. Unfortunately the fire destroyed his hands completely and they had a choice to make amputate or risk infections spreading... So they amputated BOTH hands.. We are forever thankful it was only his hands and not his life . Andrew is not out of the woods yet, he has a long road of recovery and skin grafts. Our family needs everthing from donations , prayers and positive thoughts.
These donations will go towards andrews future prosthetic hands & anything the family needs as well.
