Fight with Andria

Hi, my name is Tamra and the San Marcos Academy family is asking for help for one of our own, Andria Hannum.

Andria is an amazing mom to two beautiful little girls, a fantastic wife to a great man, a marvelous daughter to wonderful parents, and a superb teacher to our stupendous students.

Andria was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2019. She went through chemotherapy and radiation. Right when the world shut down, Andria had her first mastectomy. Due to Covid, she had to wait a year to have the second procedure. She made masks look good before the rest of the world! Throughout all this, Andria continued to teach. She demonstrated poise and grace through this difficult time and was and inspiration to her students and peers.

Andria recently received the news that she has a tumor in each of her lungs after a scan and biopsy showed the cancer has metastasized to her lungs. She is going to M. D. Anderson in Houston to fight this.

Andria is a fighter! She will not give up! We want to fight this fight with her and her family. She just wants to be a mom to her babies, a wife to her husband, and a daughter who can take care of her parents through their golden years.

We are asking for any monetary help you can provide to relieve the financial burden on the family with the medical bills they will no doubt face. Please find it in your heart to give anything you can to help Andria and her family in this time of need.
