Andrzejewski Fire

Hi my name is Elizabeth, and I am raising funds to help my in-laws who lost their home in a fire on April 30, 2022. Anthony, Valerie and Sandra lost their home in Waterbury unexpectedly due to faulty wiring in their kitchen. Anthony and Valerie have spent the better part of their life helping others in the Greater Waterbury Area. They have two foster children, 8 and 10 years old and adopted three, two of which live at home, 17 and 19 years old. One of whom is Autistic and intellectually challenged. They were not home when the fire started; a neighbor saw the fire and called it in.

 

Along with their adopted children, they have two biological children Sandra and my husband, Nick. Sandra has a ten-year-old son, and they live with my in-laws. They also lost everything, such as school uniforms and other belongings. This fire has taken everything from them, including their dog, Joya.

 

The Andrzejewski family will need to rebuild from the bottom up; this includes clothing, bedding, and furniture. The fire department arrived as quickly as possible, but the damage was extensive.
