Andy (Diesel) Ford

Andy "Diesel" Ford. Husband to Bonnie, Father to Amie & Blake. We all know this family as part of our Regimental family but also as a mentor & friend to many of us. Andy may of passed on but his life spirit lives on within all of us that had the honor to call him our friend. When you think of Andy, you all have a memories of him & the times you have spend together. Memories that you will sit here reading this now with a little smile on your face, remembering that time together. Andy was such a character that positive effect  has impacted on all our lives. When things were low, you could always count on him to be there for you & pick you up in anyway he could. He was a selfless friend who was always thought the best of people & would put himself 2nd before others.

The loss of Andy is felt by many but no more so then his family. Our hearts & thoughts are with them all at this time of difficulty. As Andy would be there for us in our time of need, we will be there for them. Not just for now but as time goes on.

They say time is a great healer & it is but its not always that easy. You never really lose that person but you learn to live with whats happened over time.

Andy “Diesel” Ford’s funeral will be held Friday the 22nd at Western Mill Crematorium (Ferndale Rd, Plymouth. PL2 2EP) @ 1100hrs. Bonnie's only allowed 10 people in the service but the grounds are large enough & open to allow people to wait outside, pay respects before & after the service.Bonnie was mentioned that the support & kind messages from people are helpful for both her & the children. Both Amie & Blake take comfort in knowing just how special & highly respected their Dad was to us. Rather  then flowers, Bonnie has asked donations go to St Lukes Hospice.
