24hr Royal Marine Rollercoaster Race For Baby Cam
Donation protected
We are currently raising funds to support Andy & Hannah. In August 2022 Hannah gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Cameron Timothy MacRae. Cameron has since been diagnosed with infantile leukodystrophy, a rare medical condition which affects the brains ability to function and a progressive loss of physical and mental capacity. Due to the rare nature of his condition, some of the surgery and follow up care required to treat Cameron was not available quick enough with the NHS and therefore Andy & Hannah have had to find huge amounts of money to cover these bills privately. Although his life expectancy is still short, this treatment has given Andy, Hannah & Cameron the chance to be a family and savour the time they have together. Andy has been in the Royal Marines since 2006 and has served operationally in various countries. He is currently based at Armoured Support Group RM who are running a 24hr endurance relay race across the notorious South West Coastal path A.K.A "The Rollercoaster". This charity event will be hosted on 27th July and is open to all RM units.
