Andy Heink Medical Expenses

After 40+ years as a professional Van Operator within the moving network, our dear friend Andy Heink retired in the fall of 2022 and moved to Mexico to enjoy this next phase of his life. Sadly earlier this year, Andy was diagnosed with cancer and has since been courageously battling this horrible disease. Andy is currently in the hospital in Mexico where he is being cared for until he is in well enough to make the trip home to Alberta. Once Andy returns to Alberta he still has a long road ahead of him with medical treatments and adjustments to make his home wheelchair accessible. For those of you that know Andy, he would without a doubt help anyone in need and we all know he would never ask for help personally. With this battle, Andy has incurred significant expenses well over $60,000 for his medical care in Mexico. Along with his family and friends, we hope to lessen the financial burden on Andy so he can focus on his health as he fights for his life. If you can help, any donation will make a positive impact.
