Andy is running 100 miles again…
Annabelle Grace was born in 2011. We were told she wouldn’t “do well” when she was born so we should think about terminating the pregnancy at 20 weeks. We did not.
We knew that she had cerebral palsy, periventricular nodular heterotopia and (we have since found out) polymicrogyria.
Annabelle has done well, but unfortunately she did develop epilepsy at the age of ten. It wasn’t what we wanted. It was hideous. She didn’t deserve that.
The Daisy Garland have donated a seizure monitor to us, and it means the world.
Andy isn’t overly happy with me doing this but can we all sponsor him?
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The Daisy Garland and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The Daisy Garland: A family-run, national, registered children's charity working exclusively for children with drug-resistant epilepsy. Set up in 2004 in memory of our wonderful daughter Daisy who died in her sleep from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients) when she was just 6 years old. Our aims are to raise awareness of childhood epilepsy and SUDEP, to fund specially trained dietitians to work within NHS hospitals and to provide positive support for parents/carers of children with drug-resistant epilepsy.
