Andy Kerr's Sudden Passing
Donation protected
Andy was sent to the hospital after being found unconscious Wednesday morning after spendining the night at a friend's house. He was immediately given CPR and was resuscitated by the EMTs mulitiple times before arriving at AGH. The doctors tried everything they could, but they were unable to help Andy regain consciousness. Surrounded by family and friends, Andy was removed from life support and passed away peacefully Thursday evening. The cause of all of this is still unknown, but it is speculated that Andy had an unknown medical condition which triggered all of this.
Anyone who has ever met Andy wouldn't hesitate to call him one of the nicest people they've ever met. If he spent the last of his paycheck on a pizza and a case of beer, he wouldn't hesitate letting you help yourself to both. If you were having a bad day, he wouldn't skip a beat and would tell the perfect joke or make the perfect smart ass comment to get a smile on your face. He has always been there to help a friend in need, and now we are looking for people to help his family in their time of need. Andy was a healthy 24 year old, fun loving person who was taken too soon, leaving his family with unexpected medical bills and funeral costs. It's hard enough to have to say goodbye to a son and brother, but even harder to do so with the unexpected and sudden financial burden that comes with his passing.
If you are able to donate to help this amazing family, no matter what the amount, it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, we are asking that if anyone has pictures of Andy that they please send them to [email redacted] We are hoping to collect pictures from all of his friends to make a photo album for his mother Kate. With everything being digital these days, and often only able to be seen by some due to Facebook privacy issues, we want to ensure that his life and smile are documented for his family to reminisce for years to come.
