Please take a moment to
Read the information shared by Andy Knoll’s wife . Andy is a 1988 OHS graduate and is such a kind soul who loves to serve his lord , his family and friends and community. Please if you can find it in your heart to assist financially it is greatly appreciated as the medical expenses pile up and the extent of future medical expenses are unknown. All thoughts , prayers and good vibes are also welcome
It’s always hard for families to accept assistance but I know Andy and Sharon would be the first to help others.

” on June 11, Andy Knoll suffered from an Acute Ischemic Stroke in the Basal Ganglia. It affected his whole left side and was unable to use it for awhile. He does have use again but still limited. He is still numb on the left side and has lost some feeling. He is blind in his left eye and has lost some hearing as well on that side. He was also diagnosed with diabetes and hypertension. The diabetes is somewhat under control but his blood pressure is still high even with many med changes and adjustments. While in the hospital, they also found a growth on his thyroid that they didn’t like, but Sharon and Andy have decided to deal with that once he is stable with the other stuff going on. Right now he is very week and as the day goes on, he gets more disengaged with people. He feels sick most of the time and that could be the meds but they aren’t sure yet. The last two or so weeks he has declined and is getting slower. There is a concern he has had another stroke, but the doctor hasn’t ran the tests to know yet. He has a wound on his leg that isn’t healing and with all the test, they can’t figure out why it hurts him so bad. The bone and sample they took of it came back ok. So that is a mystery to them. He is still unable to work and it will be awhile before he can go back to work. Andy hasn’t turned that corner yet, but very hopeful that he will. He doesn’t answer calls or texts very often, because he is too tired or it’s too much work to engage. Sharon is a stay at home wife and mom and is able to care for him 24/7 and their two girls have been great help too.
In the midst of this Andy was also diagnosed with heart failure and is on meds for it. “
