We are truly heartbroken to share that our father, Andrew Mayo, passed away early Tuesday morning June 27th, at his home in South Boston, Virginia.

Andy was an incredible husband, father, and friend, as well as a well known and well loved member of both the Marshfield, MA and South Boston, VA communities. His kindness, generosity, outgoing personality, and easy laugh will be truly and deeply missed.

Andy's passing was a shock to us all and we are absolutely devastated by his loss. We are struggling to find the resources and funds to cover both the cost of his arrangements and (more importantly) to relocate Cathy back to Massachusetts to be back home with her family.

We will be holding a memorial service to celebrate Andy's life on Monday, July 10th from 4-7 PM at Macdonald Funeral Home. A link to his obituary will added shortly.

We have been overwhelmed by all the support shown so far, and can’t thank you enough for helping our family during this time.
