Andy Robinson's 80th Birthday (Save the Children)

Fans of actor Andrew Robinson live all around the world, and bridge multiple generations, as Andy’s career has spanned five decades, from his roles as Scorpio in Dirty Harry, Larry in Hellraiser, fan favourite Garak on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as countless film, TV, and theatre credits. He also created the MFA Acting program at USC School of Dramatic Arts, and has written two beloved books.

 

In honour of his 80th birthday on February 14th 2022, we’re raising money for a charity he has supported since the 1990s: Save the Children. Especially through his teaching, and the time and love he’s shared with the Sid City Social Club during the pandemic, Andy has shown how much he cares about what he can give to the next generation, and to the world at large. We intend to harness some of the generosity he has shown to his fans over the years, and pay it forward to an important cause.

 

Save the Children USA is a non-profit organisation working to improve the lives of children in the United States and around the globe. They provide life-saving aid and supplies in emergencies, areas of poverty, and in warzones. This includes an ongoing response during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing education and vaccines to badly impacted and undersupported countries. [More info: Save the Children ]

 

Donations to this fundraiser will be given directly to Save the Children via GoFundMe, soon after Andy’s birthday. Andy will be notified via Melissa Lowery of SidCity .
