Andy Conn's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Many of you know my father Andy Conn passed away on 2/2/18. Obviously my siblings and I are devastated. And with the outpouring of love and emotion that I have seen on social media you are all as affected by it as we are. It is apparent that my father was loved by many.
My Father was a complicated, dynamic man that shone so bright in his short life. He was a witch, a trickster and a warrior. He was a champion of the underdog and a mentor to many. I feel very blessed to have known him, not only as a father but as a friend.
He traveled seamlessly through many circles, whether they be Pagans, poets or activists. His dogged curiosity compelled him to meet people and engage with them in ways that many of us only wish we could. He had a knack for getting right to core of someone and relate to them on a deep, almost visceral level. He was a scholar of personal experience and he shared his knowledge freely.
These are just a few of the reasons that I loved my father so deeply. I hope that as time goes on I can share the many stories that I have of him and you can share yours with me.
Memorial Fund
At the moment my siblings and I were unprepared for something of this magnitude to happen. We have set up a memorial fund to help offset the cost of services for him. If you you can donate feel free to contribute. There will be an immediate need for funds to help cover the cost of cremation and associated services. What is left will be used for a memorial service that all can attend. A donation will be made to a charity that reflected my fathers values as well. I plan on letting this campaign run for 1 month ending on March 2, 2018. If there is any questions on how the funds will be spent, feel free to contact me.
We appreciate any help you can offer.
