Andy's Battle to Beat Cancer

Hi everyone, although reality has not set with the news received today, we’re reaching out with a heavy and desperate heart. In April of 2022 my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Urothelial Carcinoma that has since metastasized to his bones, liver, lungs, spine, adrenal glands, and brain. Since then my dad has fought an incredible battle against cancer, enduring extensive treatments over the past months - including multiple types of chemotherapy, radiation, procedures, clinical trials, blood transfusions, hospital visits, etc. Despite his strength and resilience, we’ve now reached a point where available treatment options have been exhausted, and we are out of most alternatives. However, we are not giving up on him.

Our dad is truly a remarkable man. If any of you know my dad, you know that he is the most selfless, hilarious, loving, and charming man there is. He has always been a pillar of support and provided the absolute world to us three girls with his unwavering love, and he is our absolute world. With as weak as he is, he continues to sit here wiping our tears. Over the past three years we have become our dad’s main source of support. Watching his quality of life deplete with each day, the pain, and uncertainty has been heartbreaking to my mom, my sister, and I. My dad is continuing to fight each and every day, and doesn’t want to give up on himself either.
