Andy's Memorial: A Family's Farewell

My brother, Andy, recently passed on November 25th. Andy was a wonderful brother, son, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind Julia Laetari, Terry Hoppe, and me, Ryan Laetari.

Andy was a passionate and skilled hair stylist who was well traveled, and loved all things skateboarding, art, and music. Growing up, I looked up to him as a role model and he always gave me guidance and helped me navigate through life. He invited me to live with him in New York and welcomed me into his home, nearly 8 years ago, which changed my life for the better. I am forever grateful to him for helping me and giving me the opportunity to do what I probably would not have had the courage or means to do alone.

We are all devastated by Andy’s passing and were not prepared for the high costs of travel, time off of work thats needed to be taken, and the funeral services.

We want to give Andy the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory, and to say our last goodbyes and are reaching out to our community and loved ones for support. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Andy’s funeral and are aiming to raise $10,000 by June 1st, 2025 in order to be able to afford his funeral service.
