Andy's trip to Spain and France

Hello, my name is Andy and I am 16 years old and a junior at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, CO. My mom is a Spanish teacher, and has always encouraged my sister and I to study languages. She has often said that studying Spanish, and then having the opportunity to go to Spain when she was in high school, changed her life completely. I am currently studying both Spanish and French, and am in level 4 of both languages. I am a straight A student, and hope to continue on to college after I graduate.

I have an opportunity to travel to Spain and France during my Spring Break of 2023, and I would so love to go. The trip cost a little over $5000, and with my mom being a single mom, we are having a little bit of difficulty coming up with all of the money to pay for the trip. We have had a few very generous donations from friends and family, but are still in need of about $3400 for the trip. We will be doing some fund-raising activities at school, such as selling pizzas and chocolate, plus I will be getting a part time job soon to help pay for the trip.

If you are able to make a donation, anything at all would help us immensely! Also, if you are able to donate as much as $50, I would be happy to offer my services to you, such as virtual tutoring for your child (if you don’t live in Colorado). Or if you are local, I would be happy to come do any yard work, household chores, babysitting, or whatever you need!
