Angel Carman, Breast Cancer Warrior

Hi! My name is Melanie Burdick! I have had the pleasure of working with Angel for many years and love this woman so much, as many of you do as well. If you know Angel in any capacity you know she is a AWESOME! She is a wonderful mother, an amazing partner, a fabulous friend, a kick butt teacher, a rockstar realtor, you name it she does it. The best part about it is she does all of this with a smile!

You can imagine the devastation when we all found out she was going to have to add Cancer Warrior to the list. I remember just sitting in silence and crying with my team, as I know many of you did as well. We were very scared but we knew if anyone can fight this Angel would, and she DID!!!

Independent not just a word for Angel, she lives it. She has never been one to ask for help! Some common phrases we all hear her say, "I'll figure it out" and "don't worry about me!" The truth of the matter is that not being able to have her second job during her treatment has been a challenge. Medical bills are coming in and while the insurance helping it is not quite enough!

I am hoping all of us can help get her to where she needs to be. Help lesson worries about bills, and worry about healing her wounds inside and out! Help her feel like cancer can really be gone, and she NEVER has to think about it again. Anything helps. If you are not able to donate money, give her love! I know she most definitely always accepts love! I know you just thinking of her helps heal her heart!

I have set a lofty goal, honestly I didn't even ask Angel what she wanted it to be. I also was not quite sure what to put! Any amount will be a huge blessing!!!
