Angel Diaz for his inpatient rehab.

In November of 2023 Jose (Angel) fell and broke his neck. He was instantly paralyzed and was taken to Tyler where he underwent surgery. He spent approximately 2 months in the hospital and then transferred to Baylor Rehab in Dallas for 8 weeks. He has since been moved to a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Palestine. Due to lack of funding this has all been an out of pocket expense for his family and all resources have been exhausted. He has been approved for disability however, due to the time it takes for money to start coming in he is in need of help to maintain another month at his current facility at a cost of $5100 a month.
