Angel Needs Dental Care

Hi, I'm Stan, and this fundraiser is for Angel, a black cat, about 10 years old or so, who wandered into my yard, starving, about two weeks ago. Thanks to some love and care, and the vet , Angel's recovering.

A near perfect copy of another little black cat named Changeably (who I also tried to rescue, and who passed away at the vet- under anesthesia- a couple of weeks before Angel came into the yard).

It turned out when we went to the vet to get Angel fixed, that Angel had cat HIV- and to stay alive, would now need to be an indoor cat. That will be tough, because Angel was an outdoor cat in the wild, and now, couldn't be released outside at all- even after being fixed.

So it was either, I adopt Angel- or euthanasia. The very nice vet said that Angel could have a few more years, but the immediate problem was dentistry. Angel needs about $1,000 to $2,000 worth of work. (The vet said they would try to keep it closer to $1,000) All Angel's teeth will need to be pulled, and Angel can only have soft food.
