Angel Rene Sanchez-Jimenez Memorial

On Tuesday morning, November 30th, we lost a beautiful, generous, jolly, loving man, my husband René. He was a husband, brother, father, son, grandfather, friend, and the kind of bartender who never failed to brighten the day of anyone who had the very good fortune of finding themselves seated at his bar. A lifelong hospitality professional, Rene was a consummate pro who made every customer feel special; his legacy will be carried forward by the many bartenders he meticulously and patiently trained all over New York City. He leaves behind broken hearts and warm smiles for all who were lucky enough to be loved by him.
