Angel Rodarte: funeral fund
Donation protected
My father was the elderly gentleman that was hit yesterday 12/27/16 while crossing N. Santa and Cananea St. in Vista CA, which he did have the right of way a driver turned left and struck him. Unfortunately he suffered severe head trauma, he fought but unfortunately his injuries were to severe and he passed on at 11:30 p.m. The family is asking for any help, a dollar anything would be greatly appreciated. The Rodarte family are very humble, this was an unexpected and tragic blow. No body can really be prepared for a big expense of this magtitude. If you lived in Vista you have probably seen him grieving his lil Toyota work truck, he was 80 years old and still worked and helped everyone he could, if not with money but with his kind and gentle words of wisdom, and if was not working he would park and take his daily walks. Angel Rodarte was known by his family as a hardworking and generous man. He came to America from Jerez, Zacatecas at a young age and never stopped working hard to support his family. He fathered 9 children biologically but will be remembered as a dad to many more. Most people will hold on to the memory of him in his work truck which was his pride and joy. You could catch him cruising the streets of Vista either on foot or in his truck. He would always stop to have a conversation no matter if he knew you or not. He was 80 years old but would say he was as strong as a 50 year old. He never stopped working to be more and do more for his family. We are asking for donations of any amount to help pay for funeral expenses. His daughter, Patricia Rodarte, will be in charge of expenses.
