Angel, the sweetest baby goat

Hello, my name is Heather and I have always had a love for animals. Angel was born January 18 2024 on one of the coldest winter days. She is a twin and immediately it was obvious that her big brother took all of the space up in her mother's womb. She was so tiny and clinging to life. As her brother was quick to stand up and begin nursing, she was struggling and not receiving the much needed attention from her mother. In an attempt to save her life and give her a chance, she was brought inside, warmed up and stimulated to drink from a bottle. She took right to the milk and showed her fight to want to live. After a few hours she tried to stand for the first time, which is a long time compared to a typical newborn and found that her legs were too weak to support her but she didn't stop trying. It wasn't until the next day that she took her first few steps without falling to her knees but she didn't give up. Day after day she got stronger and stayed on her feet longer. We thought she was going to be fine and she was for the first month but then she started to grow and her boby got heavier. Her knees began to buckle and she starting falling more and more. Our hearts sank. She has overcome so much and has showed us her shear will to live. We want to give her the opportunity to have a normal life where she can run and jump and do goat somersaults, she has earned it. To get her recovery process started we need to take her to the large animal veterinary hospital for a examination pre op and xrays. We finally found a facility that is willing to do experimental surgery and give her the chance at life she deserves. Please help us give Angel a miracle.
