Angela, 38 with Stage 4 Cancer...

On July 6th, 2022, my wife received a devastating phone call that changed our lives forever. Angela was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, accompanied by a heartbreaking prognosis. The news hit us with a profound shock, leaving us utterly unprepared for the difficult year that lay ahead. Just a few months prior, we had experienced the joyous arrival of our second child, a beautiful daughter, which made the subsequent emotional rollercoaster even more challenging to endure.
Following a series of scans, we discovered that the cancer had spread to Angela's breast, lungs, liver, bones, and skull. The treatment plan prescribed five rounds of radiation for her skull and six rounds of chemotherapy, supplemented with immunotherapy. The weight of this burden was intensified by the presence of our two young children, aged three and under. Our hearts shattered in the face of this overwhelming news.
After completing the initial rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, we were relieved to see Angela's body respond remarkably well, with minimal side effects beyond the expected. However, as time passed, she began experiencing mild headaches and a general sense of being unwell. Subsequent scans revealed the emergence of two new brain lesions. Due to their challenging location and rapid development, we had to adjust her medication to a stronger regimen and administer two additional rounds of radiation to her brain. Once again, her body displayed resilience in response to the treatments, albeit with stronger and more enduring side effects.
Currently, we have transitioned to a third type of medication due to the impact the previous treatments had on Angela's body. In our pursuit of her recovery, we are exploring integrative therapies and embracing every possible remedy that may aid in her fight against this formidable disease. As a family, we are deeply grateful for Angela's unwavering spirit and God’s miraculous healing. Nevertheless, the road ahead remains long and arduous as we strive for complete remission.
If you are willing to offer your support, we would sincerely appreciate any donations to assist with the mounting medical expenses that continue to escalate. Furthermore, we kindly ask that you share our story with your family and friends, sending Angela an abundance of positive thoughts and prayers. Your generosity and collective support mean the world to us as we navigate this challenging journey together.
Thank you and God bless
