Celebration of the Life of Angela Barnett

As most of you know, mum was battling cancer and passed peacefully at midnight 23rd May 2024. Our mum was always a fighter right to the end. A glamorous woman, mother of 4 and grandmother of 4. You probably would have known her through her rambunctious childhood in Hitchin and Luton, her career driving buses in and around Luton including services dedicated to disabled children. She was a woman who loved to laugh (I’m sure you can hear it your head now too!) and dedicated a lot of her time to her faith, spirituality and learning and embracing her ancestral roots.

All mum wanted was to have a good send off with the people she loved the most, a good meal, a lot of fun and dancing!

We are hoping you can join us in making that happen.

Thank you for enriching my mother’s life. While mum set up a funeral plan, she passed before it was paid off. Having had to take a lot of time off of work to care for her in the end, we would be grateful for a some help to cover the rest of the expenses.
