Angela Colvin-Demers

Angela was my granddaughter -in-law. She was diagnosed with ALS Oct 2021. She left behind a husband -Michael, daughter's aged 15 and 3. Her death came much sooner than was ever expected, recently she entered hospice care. Despite the fact that they both contributed to household expenses and did not live extravagantly- they believed there would be time to save money for final expenses. They ended up having to use what little savings they had to bring in caregivers a number of times when the people scheduled cancelled/ called at last minute to say they couldn't come/just never showed up and the agency said "we don't have anyone else to send! She was not able to walk anymore or do any of her own personal care.

Funds will pay for her cremation, any funds remaining will assist their now smaller family, as their income is now reduced by half until the family can apply for and hopefully receive some sort of assistance and social security starts for the two children. ALL families involved are contributing as much as they are able and we (like you) are feeling the bite of higher prices for everything. It would be very much appreciated.
