Angela McFarlane

My name is Susie. On behalf of her son Daniel and a community that deeply loved her, I am reaching out for support as we have unexpectedly lost one of our own.

Angela was a foundational member of our group ("The Luke and Susie Community") who, despite not having much in earthly possessions, gave richly of her time, talents and energy to ensure that those around her felt loved, valued and seen. In heartbreaking circumstances, Angela has been reunited with Jesus, face to face. Her son, Daniel, is set to get married in a few short weeks. This upcoming wedding was everything to Angela and it's shattering to Daniel, his fiancee Lauren, and all that know Angela that she will not be able to be there in person.

Angela loved to sing on her own and in choir, loved dogs and deeply loved people, putting aside her own comfort to make sure others were ok. With everything she had, Angela was always generous. Throughout the worst isolation of covid, Angela struggled with not being able to see people and so turned her mind to making sure those around her were loved and supported.

With a wedding to finish organising and preparing for, the unexpected timing of Angela's passing means that financial support is needed to help cover the costs of a funeral and memorial.
