Hey, thanks for checking out my story.
I love my beautiful girl, my devoted husband, caring sisters, family and friends...and of course my puppy love, fluffy cat and goldfish.
AND I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THEM!
I was recently diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 2 Breast Cancer and I have been through Chemotherapy followed by a radical Bi-Lateral Mastectomy and Lymph node clearance.
I pushed through the chemo and tried to work at my casual job as much as physically and mentally possible, unfortunately the A/C chemo did not reduce my tumours prior to surgery, but the weight loss and forced menopause made way for possible clearances allowing the surgeon to proceed. In April 2018 my surgery revealed 4 out of the 16 lymph nodes as positive with cancer, even knowing this, I thought I would bounce back. However, it just isn't that easy and I am struggling to regain energy and wellness.
My own extensive and ongoing research reveals numerous options out there, some easy to apply and others well out of my reach, some anecdotal and others scientifically studied.
All I want to do is improve my odds - I want to have success and SURVIVE!
My new mantra - 'heal myself', enables a more holistic approach, (an option not offered within the public hospital system).
Hopefully I will find some positive gems and be able to share my knowledge with so many other woman out there, who feel devastated when their told "you have BC".
