Angela's Fight with Cancer

This is my dear niece Angela, 46, diagnosed with stage II ovarian cancer. Angela is a hard-working, selfless human being who worked until her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. She has always been an active member of her church giving and volunteering generously within her community. In December 2022, my niece began feeling ill and in January 2023 doctors confirmed her cancer diagnosis. In March of 2023, doctors performed a hysterectomy and she's been going to battle to win her fight against cancer ever since. She has been undergoing costly chemotherapy and radiation treatments, as these are not covered by her insurance. Angela has lost her job, exhausted her savings and does not have the means to save her life. As a caregiver, community member and church goer; my niece cares for her elderly family. Treatment is no longer a luxury but a $4,000 a session necessity in Ecuador. Please see it in your hearts to offer a small helping hand that would make the world of a difference in the lives of Angela and our family as they have exhausted all means of covering medical expenses and treatments. Esta es Angelita, mi querida sobrina de 46 años, que fue diagnosticada con cancer de ovarios en etapa II. Angelita es trabajadora y un ser humano maravilloso que trabajo hasta su diagnostico al principio del año. Siempre ha sido una miembra activa de su iglesia y voluntaria generosa dentro de su comunidad. En diciembre 2022 ella se sintio enferma y en enero los doctores confirmaron un diagnostico de cancer. En marzo le practicaron una histerectomía y ella a estado yendo a la batalla para ganar su lucha contra el cancer desde entonces. Se a estado sometiendo a costuosas tratamientos de quimioterapia y radiacion que no estan cubiertas bajo su seguro medico. Angelita a perdido su trabajo y agotado todos sus ahorros y no tiene los medios para salver su vida. Como cuidadora, miembra de la comunidad y fiel a su iglesia; mi sobrina tambien ve por sus padres. Su tratamiento ya no es un lujo sino una necesidad de $4,000/por sesion en Ecuador. Por favor vean en sus corazones para ofrecer una mano bondadosa y eso haria un mundo de diferencia en las vidas de Angelita y nuestra familia ya que han agotado todos sus medios en gastos medicos y tratamientos.
