Angela's Medical Emergency

All, I am starting this Go Fund Me for a family that is near and dear to my heart. I first met Angela and her youngest daughter, Angel, when Angel joined my Girl Scout troop more than a decade ago. Over the years, Angela supported her girls in scouts and all of their other activities, with her time and efforts. She always offered to help when she could. Last week, Angela went down to GA and AL to visit family and suffered a stroke.

The following is from Angel:

FAMILY AND FRIENDS...we find ourselves in an unthinkable place. My Mom, Angela Banks, is facing a critical medical crisis.

First, our family is asking for your prayers. We know GOD can fix any situation and we are leaning on him. Angela is receiving the best medical treatment in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born and raised in this area and is supported by many family members and friends.

We would also humbly ask for any financial support you can give to the family at this time. Angela has three wonderful daughters- Alexis (29), Alexandria (23), and me (19). I am sophomore in college and my mom is my primary caregiver in terms of my tuition for school. Education is something my mom wanted for all her children, and wouldn’t want her medical issues to get in the way of her daughters' academic goals. Funds raised will help the family pay for Angela's care, and remaining funds will go towards Angel's tuition. All donations, no matter how small, are gratefully appreciated.
