Angela’s Stroke Fund

Donation protected

On June 15th, Angela(34) had a massive stroke soon after picking up her kids Brooks(4) and Blake(2) from daycare. Luckily her husband Bryce was there as she fell and quickly called 911 where she was rushed to the hospital. The clot busting medication didn’t work and caused a rare brain bleed and resulted in an emergency craniectomy. They also tried to then remove the clot but were unable to. They were able to pull it farther away from her brain to allow blood flow.  After 23 days in the hospital she is on her way to recovery.

The damage occurred in her right brain and was a ischemic stroke in her cerebrum. Angela is currently in an inpatient rehabilitation center working several hours a day on PT/OT and speech therapy. Her left side is still partly paralyzed, she has visual loss on the left side of both eyes and her brain is working hard to regenerate. They determined Angela’s stroke was from a hole in her heart.

People have been asking if they can donate to help support her loss of income, everyday life and medical costs. We still don’t know what the future holds for her recovery or financially what the impact will be but setting this up if you would like to donate. Thanks for all the continued support of Angela and her family in her recovery.
