Help support my tia Angelica Maldonado's family

Hi, my name is Jonathan Duarte and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to gather funds for my tia's passing. For the past year, my tia fought Lymphoma cancer with incredible strength surrounded by the affectionate support of her friends and family. After having beaten cancer last month, it sadly returned unexpectedly, and has since taken a heartbreaking toll on all of our family.

My tia passed away this morning, February 29th, 2024, and leaves behind 3 heartbroken children and a husband who cared and battled for her throughout her journey. We started this GoFundMe to honor my tia's memory and support her family during this challenging time. All contributions will help ease hospital bills, funeral costs, and other financial burdens that come with such a loss. We hope this will allow her loved ones to focus on healing and cherishing the beautiful remembrances they shared with her.

My tia's lively nature lit up every space she walked into and had a laugh you could recognize from across the room. She enjoyed dancing, cracking jokes, and spending cold nights bonding with friends and family. Even in the face of adversity and chemo, she still always found a way to attend family outings and share her vibrant spirit with those around her. My tia radiated an aura that uplifted the moods of others and never failed to make me laugh. She was a caring mother who prioritized the satfisfaction and comfort of her children and other kin, placing their well-being above her own. She was a selfess, hard-working, resilient, and warm-hearted woman who's impact will continue to live on through and be displayed through everyone who knew her.

Durante el último año, mi tía libró una valiente batalla contra el cáncer linfoma, rodeada del amoroso apoyo de sus amigos y familiares. Mi tía falleció esta mañana, 29 de febrero de 2024, dejando atrás a 3 hijos desconsolados y a un esposo que la cuidó y luchó por ella durante todo su viaje. Mi tía tenía una energía contagiosa que iluminaba cualquier lugar al que entraba y su risa se escuchaba desde lejos. Le encantaba bailar, contar chistes y pasar noches frías compartiendo con amigos y familiares. A pesar de las dificultades y los tratamientos de quimioterapia, siempre encontraba la manera de estar en las reuniones familiares y contagiar a todos con su espíritu alegre. Era una madre cariñosa que siempre ponía las necesidades de sus hijos y familiares por encima de las suyas.
