Angelique Ramirez

May 18, 2018 is a day that forever be remembered in the heart of many individuals. It is the day several precious lives were taken in the shooting at Santa Fe High School. Among those precious lives was Angelique Ramirez.
Angelique was taken away from her friends and family too quickly. In her short time with us, Angelique proved to be a kind, compassionate and caring individual. She brought smiles to those who knew her; specifically, her mother (Robin) and younger brother (Amadeus). Angelique's smile was contagious and brightened up any room she walked into. In losing Angelique, her friends and family lost so much.
Words cannot begin to express the pain her friends and family are currently experiencing. The tragedy and loss happened so suddenly, and it is because of this we (Robin's school family) ask for your help. Robin is always one of the few individuals to lend a helping hand to those in need without ever thinking twice. It is our turn to return that kindness to Robin. Help us in giving Robin and her family the helping hand they deserve during this trying time. No one deserves to go through a tragedy like this.
About Angelique's mother: Robin is a single mother. She is mother to Angelique and Amadeus Ramirez. Robin is caring, loving, and self-less. She is not only an amazing individual, but is studying to help better the lives of children in need. Robin's passion, for studying School Psychology, began when her son was diagnosed with Autism. Since that day, she has strived to learn and help as much as she can to help all the individuals who are in need. She is a beautiful person.
About me: My name is Rebecca Ruiz. I am a friend and classmate of Robin. Robin and I have been in a hourly intensive cohort together during our time as graduate students. The idea for the GoFundMe came from our cohort. This campaign is on behalf of all her classmates, colleagues and professors at the University. Shortly after the tragedy, we wanted to help. Being a graduate student is hard, especially since we are not allowed to work full time jobs during our time in the program. I live a short distance away from Robin in Rosharon, TX.
Funds: As a graduate student we are not allowed to work full time. The funds would provide day to day living to allow Angelique's family time to grieve without the worry of the financial burden. Additionally, the funds would cover any expenses that remain to properly lay Angelique to rest. Moreover, the funds would serve as a way to get the help the family would need, from any professional services, to put this tragedy in their past. Although the tragedy has occurred, Angelique will remain forever in our hearts. Robin has been added as the beneficiary so that she would make the withdrawals directly to use them to aid her family in their time of need.
Your thoughts, prayers and help are very much appreciated. We thank all of you in advance.
Robin and her family are going through a very difficult time. We ask that you please respect the family’s privacy during their trying time. NO media inquiries through this page, please. Thank you.
NOTE!!! If you see another account with our exact same photo and story, it is a fraud. We only have a GoFundMe campaign for the family of Angelique Ramirez. I found a site on GoGetFunding that is pretending to be me and I'm letting everyone know it is a fraud! This campaign has already been reviewed and approved as legitimate. All other campaigns that have my name, this exact info and this exact same photo is a fraud. I will not be creating campaigns on other sites. If you see my name on another campaign or on a website, please report it! There should be no other Rebecca Ruiz on anything else other than this campaign. Please feel free to message me and I will send you the link to prove the legitimacy of this specific campaign. Please help us report any fraud campaigns. My friend, along with other families, are really suffering. What kind of person would try to make profit from their pain? Please help us report frauds! Thank you!
